The EMA Foundation Board

Guy Mettan, President

A journalist by profession, Guy Mettan directs Club Suisse de la Presse of which he is a founding member. His columns are published in several Swiss newspapers. A member of the Geneva High Council, he has also been president of the Suisse romande division (for the French-speaking region of Switzerland ) of CCI Suisse Russie and vice-president of CCI Suisse Afrique de l'Ouest . In addition to these many achievements and contributions, he created the Festival de francophone de philosophie (the French-Speaking Philosophy Festival).

Dominique Flaux, General Secretary

A specialist in media conception and marketing, Dominique Flaux created numerous magazines, namely Trusting,100 Frontières, Année Horlogère Suisse, Panorama, and le Journal de l'Immobilier. He also created the EMA Invest and Quais de l'Immobilier events and was also marketing director at Journal de Genève in addition to acting in a similar capacity in several other publications: Banque & Finance, Affaires Publiques, and Marchés Tropicaux & Méditerranéens).

Philippe Séchaud, President
Philippe Séchaud is Director of several banks in Africa (BICIA-B, BICICI, BICIS, BNP Paribas Mauritanie) as well as for PROPARCO and Gras-Savoye in Switzerland. He started his career as a technical advisor to the director of PNUD in New York . He then joined SIFIDA, an investment company for Africa founded in 1970 by 120  top industrial and financial groups including BAD and SFI. He held that position forover 30 years. Actively involved in project financing and trading in Africa , SIFIDA is now a part of the BNP Paribas group. Mr. Séchaud is a graduate of the prestigious Ecole Polytechnique de Paris where he studied Civil Engineering.
